Learning (LMS)
A course is a sellable or assignable product tied to a board, class, subject, and medium (for example CBSE Class 10 Mathematics). It has a description, pricing options, publication status, and: most importantly: a course outline that defines the learning path.
Outlines turn a course from a folder of files into a guided journey. Students always know what to do next; you can measure completion per activity; and experts can align assignments and live sessions with specific sections.
Outline in brief
The outline is the ordered list of what students experience inside My courses. It is organised into sections (modules or chapters). Each section contains activities:
- Video: Watch a hosted or embedded video lesson.
- Document: Open a PDF or similar file in the viewer.
- Rich text: Read formatted lesson content in the browser.
- Quiz: Take a timed or untimed mock test with automatic scoring.
How to

Open Manage courses and select a course (or create one).

Open the Outline / outline builder for that course.

Add section and give it a clear name (for example “Real Numbers”).

Inside the section, Add activity and choose the type.

Complete the activity form (video URL or upload, PDF upload, rich text body, or link to a quiz).

Set activities to published when they should be visible.

Drag rows to reorder sections and activities.

Save frequently and preview as a student when possible.
